Can Diesel keep his promise to protect her and avenge her father’s death?
Note to readers
This book includes violence and sexual content, if you think these topics will offend you please do not purchase.
This is not your normal MC series. The Aces are an MC with alpha males but the members do not shy away from the fact that they are husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings. If you don’t like a biker who cares and respects his woman, then this isn't a book for you.
I want to take the time to mention that I’m from the United Kingdom and use UK spellings.
This book is a standalone story. However, to receive the full experience of the ACES MC Series it is recommended to read the stories in the following order
Diesel – Book 1
Duke - Book 2
Paige and Chloe - Book 2.5
Spike - Book 3
Amy - Book 3.5
Locke - Book 4
Jayden - Book 4.5
Woods - Book 5
Cade - Book 5.5
CJ - Book 6

Review based on a free copy. This is a short read with 162 pages. Normally I would call this a a good number of pages with most only having 30~60. Still it reads like a short story. I have to tell you for a free book it's a heck of a deal, but there were things that kept me from hitting 5 stars.I think it reads like a 50 page story because it has a few different POV's without digging into the meat and potatoes. Also too much is happening too soon. There is character development, but not enough to explain how she can mean so much to so many in such a short time. Also love at first site must be in the water (beer) they drink there because that is all that explains Ink's sudden change of (virginal) heart. I like a good MC read, but this has more of a romance/fantasy feel to it in parts. Still other parts seem to be very much biker. It's like it was written by two people or maybe one that flips back and forth between what would really be and what they would want it to be. Kinda hard to put your finger on.
No I can't give it 5 stars, but I would say for free it's a heck of a read if you like MC stories.

Diesel Aces MC Series Book 1 edition by AimeeLouise Foster Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was an interesting book. Needed more of a connection with Diesel and Harlow. It was hard to picture love at first sight. The age difference was a little weird. The club that she was raised in and killed her father attacked her. The one man who helped raise her and was part of the family took part in this attack. But nothing was done to him. Why???? Duke was told who was involved but this man got away. Other than that it was an ok book.
Ethan and Inks story was good. Ink was running from a previous club who wanted to hurt her straight into ethans arms. Even through all the abuse she suffered from the rival club, would either be there for her? To find out must read.
I was able to read this book in an hour. Wished for a little longer. Spelling and grammar are different since the book seemed to have Irish accents. Punctuation was also different. I recommend this book.
Really well written, fleshed out characters, even the crazy ones. Hotness between the protagonists, true crisis and suspense with a satisfying resolution. I liked the fact that she was an artist and was trying to make a life for herself out of the shadow of her father's crew. No crutches, no net. Then life threw her a curve ball but she was no pussy, she fought back for her life. Great short read.
I read the book and found myself skipping over a little especially toward the end. It had a good story line but just didn't seem to be fully developed. It had too many errors that became distracting. I thought I'd check it out after falling totally in love with another MC collection about Aces MC but it doesn't compare. I had stumbled across this while searching for more of that other Aces MC club books. But its always good to check out the other authors and I might get the next book to see if the writing improves. This really was a nice story with good characters, it just seemed rushed.
I first read this book as I was looking for a new genre. I had at the time no interrest in stories related with MC, but this book managed capture my interrest. The author managed to create some very believable caracters and situations.
Diesel appears as an alpha male whom falls head over heels for his "Ink" and will do everything in his power to protect her. Ink is starting a new life on her own, but ghost form the past follow her to try and take her down. Our couple struggles with their own personal demons, and time will test them, but after lowering their gards and walls they are able to trust in each other to come out stronger.
I have now completed my third reading of the book and it still manages to capture may attention and I still find it dificult to put it down. I have also purchased the rest of the series and find the books just as appealing.
This was my first book by Aimee Louise Foster and I can tell you now it won't be my last. I loved that she used so many people to tell the story but was still was easy to follow. Not only that but it made me start to love other charters. I love how strong Harlow is and how she takes on the world alone because she knows it's what's best for her eveb if it's not the easy way.
I enjoyed this book. It is rather short and definitely packed with a lot of action. I think the author did a good job developing the characters given the book's length. Everything happened very quickly though giving it a not quite real life feel. I enjoyed that the book took place in the U.K. I did not have any trouble following the author's word choice or understanding the slang. If you have ever read and enjoyed Jade West's books you will find this much easier to understand. I had to look up some phrases from West's early books but not from this one. I think I will read others in the series but I did not quite love this so much that I plan to read the others nonstop like I do sometimes when I discover a new author I enjoy.
